Ambassador CommitteeThe Ambassador Committee is comprised of chamber members who serve as the welcoming arm of the Chamber at all events and familiarize new members to the workings of the Chamber. They play a vital role in promoting the Chamber, acting as hosts at the events, deliver the official Chamber New Member Packages and Plaques and represent the Chamber.

Governmental Affairs CommitteeThe chamber’s Governmental Affairs Committee works to create, develop and utilize policies and practices that provide pro-business legislation by sustaining a favorable business climate at the local, state and federal levels. The committee ensures that the business perspective is heard on a variety of critical issues that affect businesses. The Governmental Affairs Committee hosts the annual Legislative Business Luncheon which allows chamber members to listen to reports by local elected officials and to ask them questions. Chamber ConnectionsThe purpose of the Chamber Connections group is to offer business networking opportunities to non-competitive business owners and key managers representing select member firms of the Montebello Chamber of Commerce. Only one member from each kind of business is able to join (one bank, one realtor, etc.), and must be members in good standing of the Chamber and abide by all program rules. The program affords opportunities for new business, personal development, and friendship. Chamber Connections group meets weekly to exchange new business leads and to discuss growth opportunities in the Montebello and surrounding areas. Meeting are held every Tuesday morning, 8:00 a.m. at the Hometown Buffet in Montebello. |
